A little late, but it's here! My August Art Journaling Challenge is up

Below is my page - I went with a different sized page this month just for a change!

I used my upcoming kit, Summer breeze, as it had the perfect colours and depth for the theme of my page!!

Of course there's a little participation prize, as always! It's a set of flairs to co-ordinate with our new miniMix kit, Waves of Laughter! I'm so pleased, my new kit, Misty Morning is in store at The Boomerang NOW!

I was inspired to create this kit by my morning walks along a local beach. Misty mornings, sunshine, sea, sand...the feeling summer is just around the corner! This kit is just perfect for getting you in the mood for scrapping all those happy, fun and sun-filled days!

Not only that, I enjoyed myself so much making this kit, that I didn't want to stop! So I created a FREEBIE mini kit add-on for you as well!

I had a great time making this page, and it made me realise I do usually scrap with horizontal lines rather than vertical! Great challenge Nan! Thank you!

iNSD at Hummie's World - a Hop, a chat and loadsa fun and challenges!

We're kicking off the iNSD weekend early at Hummie's World and The Boomerang store!

BoBoBernie April Art Journaling Challenge is UP!

Bit late posting this here, after the Easter Weekend and my Birthday on Monday (yup! 1st April baby!!)...but my April Art Journaling Challenge is UP at Hummie's World!

My page this month ended up being more about the art than the journaling! But of course, that's OK! There are no rules when it comes to art journaling! It's a personal thing, and for me, this page says exactly what I want it to!

The challenge is about what we are searching for in life, and for me, I think peace and quiet, calm and that connected feeling I get when I'm walking along the beach - especially in the Winter when there are so few people around there! The few days before I made this, I'd driven past this scene four or five times and the colours and sight of the changing sea had been so inspirational, I HAD to try and get that feel down on my digital canvas!

I really enjoyed myself making this page! Everything except the lighthouse is created from brushes!

Anyway, I hope you will join me at Hummie's World, and have a go at my challenge! There are lots of other challenges there as well - plenty to keep us all occupied!!!
