Facebook Hop for DSD!

Wow this is going to be a busy weekend! Is everyone shopping for goodies during the DSD weekend of fun and sales?!!!!

Well, Hummie's World, Boomerang Store has a $1 bin for you! You can see what's in there by clicking HERE!

Not only that! The Designers are also having a Facebook Hop! There's a whole kit to collect, along with a little gift from me, as the newbie! I'm hoping you will enjoy it and even print it off and use it!

Too tired to scrap!

After being up since 4, awake since just after 3am, (my eldest is poorly), am not up to much; just playing in Photoshop! Last Photoshop Creative mag I received had a tiny section on creating abstract shapes, so had a go this morning, and for some reason, they seem to be coming out kinda Christmassy feeling :) x

Bernie's October Colour Challenge at Hummie's World!

My challenge is up and running! You can find it HERE!

When I think of October I think of Autumn, changing seasons, leaves changing colour on the trees and falling; lots more warm colours instead of the green of summer!

So my challenge for you this month is simple: use the colour orange on your page!

Yup, that's it! Use a little or a lot; monochromatic or a tiny bit of orange! Any theme you like, just get orange on that page somewhere!!

My September 2012 Challenge is up at Hummie's World!

This month, following on from the thoughts in the Newsletter, and as the year marches on, seasons change, routines change, new family members arrive and children return to school, I thought a challenge about change would be good!

I decided to make a page with no photo for a change, and using only a few items. I also changed from square to rectangle and used a grunge overlay that I have made on the paper! I chose this quote as I thought it'd be good to help keep me focused through all the changes that will inevitably come this month - and beyond!

There's a little participation prize for you as well - my grunge overlay! I hope you enjoy playing with it and seeing the different effects possible!

So! I challenge you to scrap a page about any kind of change in your life. Whether it's something you've chosen, something that's been forced upon you, something that happens every year, or has happened just the once...any kind of page with the theme of change!
